Role Overview

The Field Sales & Operations Officer is a core member of the Sales Operations team for the Sooq Cars mobile application. The role is responsible for client acquisition, revenue generation, and on-ground operational execution, with a focus on the Ready Cars product.

This role supports the sale and resale of repaired and fully operational light vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, and related categories.

  • Vehicle sellers and resellers

  • Individual and institutional car traders

  • Car brokers

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Support & Revenue Enablement

  • Support the field sales team by coordinating client requirements, pricing details, subscriptions, and special offers.

  • Assist in converting leads into paying customers by supporting:

    • Subscription package sign-ups

    • One-time promotional offers

    • Transactional sales and paid listings

  • Follow up with prospects and existing clients via phone, messaging, or email to support sales closure.

  • Track sales activities, pipeline updates, and deal status in coordination with the field team.

  • Prepare sales documentation, offers, and subscription details to support field activities.

2. Operations & Data Management

  • Input, update, and maintain client profiles, vehicle listings, subscriptions, and transactional data on the platform.

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards and platform requirements.

  • Review data submitted by the field team for quality and consistency before final submission or activation.

  • Maintain organized records related to clients, subscriptions, and operational activities.

  • Coordinate internally to ensure timely activation of subscriptions, listings, and transactions.

  • Receive, prioritize, and address operational requests and requirements from the field team.

  • Escalate issues, discrepancies, or system challenges as needed.

  • Support operational reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking.

  • Perform regular data checks and clean-ups to maintain platform integrity.

3. Customer Support & Market Feedback

  • Provide remote support to clients for platform usage, subscriptions, listings, and basic operational queries.

  • Assist in resolving client issues in coordination with the field team when physical intervention is required.

  • Capture and document customer feedback to support continuous improvement.

  • Join field team on visits as and when required.

4. Flexibility & Role Evolution

  • Remain open and adaptable to role changes, additional responsibilities, or scope adjustments as required by market conditions, business needs, and organizational growth.

Job requirements

Mandatory

  • Passion for the automotive industry, with a strong interest in vehicle sales and market dynamics.

  • 3-6 years of experience as a car trader, reseller, or car broker, or similar related experience within the assigned area.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Comfortable with a highly field-intensive work model.

  • Owns a vehicle and holds a valid driving license.

  • Technically proficient with mobile applications, CRM systems, and web portals for sales and data management.

  • Fluency in English and Arabic.

Preferred / Added Advantage

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Studies, Business, Commerce, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of Urdu.

  • Prior experience in field sales, subscription-based services, or marketplace platforms.
