Job description

We are seeking a confident and detail-oriented Auctioneer to manage and execute vehicle auctions through international platforms such as Copart and IAAI (USA). The role involves vehicle analysis, bidding execution, documentation review, and close coordination with traders and internal teams.

This is a full-time position that begins with a structured 3-month training period. Candidates who successfully pass the training and evaluation will be confirmed into the role.

Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a passion for cars are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

Auction Operations & Bidding

  • Conduct and manage live and timed auctions professionally

  • Execute bidding strategies and follow auction rules and procedures

  • Monitor auction timings and bid at optimal moments

  • Apply bidding tips and techniques to secure best-value purchases

Vehicle Analysis

  • Analyze vehicles sourced from Copart and IAAI (USA)

  • Study car brands, models, features, and market values

  • Assess accident types (flood, rollover, burn, partial repair, etc.)

  • Compare vehicle images and damage across multiple platforms

  • Verify VIN numbers and review CARFAX and history reports

Documentation & Compliance

  • Review vehicle titles and documents (Salvage, Rebuilt, Parts Only, DMV, MV907, etc.)

  • Identify restricted locations and special bidding areas

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external auction regulations

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with traders and internal operations teams

  • Provide analysis feedback using screenshots and reports

  • Track auction results (Won / On-Reserve / On-Approval)

  • Maintain accurate records of bids, prices, and outcomes

Training & Development

The first 3 months include structured training covering:

  • Vehicle brands, models, and features

  • Accident and damage analysis

  • Auction platforms (Copart & IAAI)

  • Bidding techniques and price calculations

  • Shipping processes and timelines

  • Company operations, values, and procedures

Final confirmation is subject to performance evaluation by management.

Job requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Related)

  • Fluent in English & Arabic

  • Strong IT and computer skills

  • Excellent communication and decision-making ability

  • Ability to work under pressure in live auction environments

  • Willingness to work evening hours (3 PM – 12 AM) - Oman Time

  • Strong passion for cars is highly preferred

  • Fresh graduates are welcome
